Pineapple Valley Golf Club Policy
Our objective is to help all golfers have the most enjoyable experience possible while at Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin.
By making a booking, playing the course or entering the premises, all customers agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct Policies as set forth by Pineapple Valley Golf, Hua Hin.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PLAY
Tee times are based on 10-minute intervals, with four (4) players’ maximum per tee time. Players are requested to check in at least half an hour before their tee time.
Followers may accompany players provided they comply with golf club policies, acknowledge the regulations, and pay the applicable follower fee.
The rules of golf at Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin, will be governed by the club management and marshals in accordance with the Royal and Ancient of St. Andrews, with updated notices issued as required.
LOCAL RULES
USPGA & R&A rules shall govern all play except where modified by local rules.
OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27) are defined by white stakes including clubhouse and its surroundings at hole 1, 3, 11, 13 and 18.
WATER HAZARDS are defined by yellow stakes (Hole 14).
LATERAL WATER HAZARDS are defined by red stakes.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTION (Rule 24)
A free relief may be obtained from drainage cover, valve box, sprinkler head, staked or protracted tree and any part of the cart path where the ball must be dropped within one club – length from the nearest point of relief.
GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Rule 25-1)
Areas defined by GUR signs where relief may be taken and the ball must be dropped within one club – length from the nearest point of relief.
PINEAPPLE PLANTATIONS
- Pineapple plantations are to be treated as Lateral Water Hazards.
- Entering those areas is done at your own risk and it should be noted that pineapple plants have sharp edges.
ETIQUETTE
- To assist with the pace of play throughout the golf course, please keep up with the group in front and invite any faster group behind play through.
- Proper golf attire is required on the golf course and in practice areas.
COURSE REGULATIONS
- Please observe course regulations and cooperate with our marshal’s requests
- Guests are requested to let slower groups play through
- Yardage is provided to the centre of the green. (Subtract 10% to convert to meters)
USAGE OF GOLF CARTS
One (1) player per golf cart and optional. In order to maintain the condition of the golf course, please observe any notices and comply with the instructions given on cart use by our marshals. For tournaments and groups over 80 pax, shared carts will be applied.
LIABILITY
Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage to equipment or accident resulting in injury, disablement or death.
PREPAYMENT
A booking is considered confirmed upon full prepayment of the green fee value, for all players. If payment is not made within 12 hours of receiving the payment link, the booking will be cancelled.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customer will notify the golf course in writing no less than 72 hours prior to the time of play via email to reservations@pineapplevalleygolfclub.com.
Cancellations received before 72 hours will be refunded in full booking value. If the booking is cancelled or the number of players is reduced within 72 hours or less of the tee time booked, there will be no refund and 100% charge will apply.
No-shows on the day of play will be charged 100% of the booking value.
The golf club reserves the right to amend or cancel any booking. The golf club will inform the customer at their earliest opportunity. The customer has the right to receive a full refund, even if an alternative tee time is offered.
DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY
By playing at Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin, players and followers consent to give their full name, email address and phone number to the golf club. The information may be used by the team to contact the player about their booking or in case of emergencies.
Personal data will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be obtained from the golf club or found here: www.pineapplevalleygolfclub.com/privacy
In accordance with the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act, personal data will not be used for marketing purposes unless explicit, written consent is given (opt-in).
CADDIES
The aim of Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin is to provide you with a caddie to make your round of golf more enjoyable, fun and precise. Each player will be accompanied by one (1) mandatory caddie at a fee of THB 400 per player. Caddies have all been trained to read yardage and putting greens to enhance your game.
It is customary to provide your caddie a gratuity at the end of the round no less than THB 400 each (based on 18 holes).
DRESS CODE
Players must adhere to the dress code. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to the course to any person considered inappropriately dressed.
GENTLEMEN
Tailored trousers or shorts are required; a T-shirt with a collar and sleeves, or the new round neck, quick dry golf shirts are required and must be worn inside trousers or shorts.
The following are not acceptable:
- Collar-less T-shirts
- Fully buttoned shirts with short or long sleeves
- Dress shirts
- Denim
- Pool or beach wear
- Athletic attire (including football / soccer shirts)
- ¾ length “Capri” trousers
LADIES
Golf shirts or blouses are required; golf trousers, shorts or skirts are required.
The following are not acceptable:
- Dress shirts
- Denim
- Pool or beach wear
- Athletic Attire
SHOES
Golf shoes with soft spikes or flat-soled training shoes are required.
Socks are required
The following are not acceptable:
- Shoes with metal spikes
- ‘Open’ shoes
- Golf sandals
RAIN CHECK
PVGC operates the below rain check policy for all guests.
- 18 holes rain check green fee voucher will be given to golfers, who cannot play more than 3 holes.
- 9 holes rain check green fee voucher will be given to golfers, who can play more than 3 holes but not more than 12 holes.
- Golfers playing more than 12 holes will not be granted a rain check.
- If golfers purchase golf cart for the round, the same conditions will be applied to golf cart as per the above details.
- Rain check green fee is valid for 45 days and is unextendible, nor transferable
- A caddie fee will be applicable on the next round, when using the rain check green fee voucher
PAIRING OF GOLFERS
Single players and pairs can expect to be paired with other players, as assigned by the golf club staff.
CLUB RENTAL
Rental sets are available at a cost of 1,500 THB per round. Club sets may not be shared among players.
OTHER
Decisions are at the discretion of the club’s General Manager. In case of any dispute, the decision by the golf club’s General Manager is binding.
