ETIQUETTE & DRESS CODE
TEE TIMES are based on 10-minute intervals, with four players maximum per tee time. Players are requested to check in at least half an hour before their tee time. The club management and marshals operate in accordance with the Royal and Ancient of St. Andrews which governs the rules of golf at Pineapple Valley Golf Club. Local Rules are featured on the scorecard.
CADDIES & USAGE OF GOLF CARTS
- Golf carts are optional
- One golf cart per player and we recommend the caddie drives the cart.
- If a player chooses to drive the cart, the player will be responsible for any damage caused.
- In order to maintain the condition of the golf course, please observe any notices and comply with the instructions given on cart use by our Marshalls.
- Golf cart rental fee is THB 750.- and are fitted with Visage GPS.
- Caddies are mandatory in Thailand at a fee of THB 400.
- Non-playing golfers may join if they rent a cart with a caddie.
CADDY GRATUITY
The aim of Pineapple Valley Golf Club is to provide you with a caddy to make your round of golf more enjoyable, fun and precise. It is Thai custom to provide your caddy a gratuity at the end of the round. We recommend this to be a minimum of THB 400 per caddie.
SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS
In the event of severe weather conditions, you can collect a ‘Rain Check’ from the Pro Shop (= select another tee time) under the following conditions:
- Completed 3 holes or less: receive Rain Check for 18 holes
- Completed between 4 and 12 holes: receive Rain Check for 9 holes
- Completed 13 holes and above: no Rain Check
PUBLIC LIABILITY
Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage to equipment or accident resulting in injury, disablement or death.
DRESS CODE
Players must adhere to the dress code. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to the course to any person considered inappropriately dressed.
GOLF SHOES with soft spikes or flat-soled training shoes are required, socks are required. The following are not acceptable:
- Shoes with metal spikes
- Open shoes
- Golf sandals
GENTLEMEN
Tailored trousers or shorts are required; collared t-shirt or golf shirts are required and must be worn inside trousers or shorts. The following are not acceptable:
- Collar-less shirts
- Sleeveless shirts
- Dress shirts
- Denim jeans or shorts
- Pool or beach wear
- Athletic attire (including football / soccer shirts)
LADIES
Golf shirts or blouses are required; golf trousers, shorts or skirts are required. The following are not acceptable:
- Dress shirts
- Denim jeans or shorts
- Pool or beach wear
- Athletic attire (including football / soccer shirts)
